SpeedPro Halifax is looking for a high-energy, hands-on Installation Specialist to join our growing team. If you like working with your hands, solving problems, using tools, and seeing the finished product come to life, this is a role where no two days look exactly the same. From installing signs, applying vinyl, and transforming vehicles with professional decals, you’ll be involved in bringing our clients’ brands to life.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and can move confidently between the production floor, installation sites, and customer-facing environments.

Enjoy a flexible schedule that adapts to our business seasons! We offer a steady 20 hours a week, with the chance to scale up to full-time hours (40 hours/week) during our peak times.

What You'll Do

- Install interior and exterior signage at client locations
- Assist with building and assembling sign structures and displays
- Lift and carry materials and equipment as required
- Apply vinyl graphics to walls, windows, vehicles, and other surfaces
- Perform vehicle lettering, graphics applications
- Measure, plan, and problem-solve installations to ensure a professional finished product
- Safely use hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and work environment
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members during installations
- Jump in wherever needed to help keep projects moving from production through to completion

Experience & Skills

Required:

- Previous production and/or installation experience is an asset
- Experience working with tools and equipment
- Ability to safely perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Strong Assets:

- Sign industry experience
- vinyl application experience
- Construction, carpentry, electrical, or other skilled trades experience
- Experience with outdoor sign installation
- Experience with ladders, lifts, power tools, and installation equipment
