We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right products to meet their needs. Your ability to engage with customers and demonstrate product knowledge will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing sales through the POS system.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are stocked and displays are attractive.
- Manage time effectively to balance customer service with operational tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work setting.
Requirements
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- A proactive attitude towards learning about new products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Serving It Right Certificate.
