The Project Coordinator role is responsible for tooling and machine design models in an automotive environment. He will also be assisting Project Management with administration, project, and technical support including developing and coordinating project scope of work, planning, and execution to ensure work is completed according to the schedule, within AMS standard and in compliance with customer standards.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical Engineering or Related Field
- Minimum of 2 Year * of Experience in project coordination in a manufacturing environment, Preferably in Automation Manufacturing Environment / Robotics.*
- Experience with developing project schedules and timelines- Project Management GANTT charts




- Proven experience with tooling/machine design models, drawings, and BOM in a machinery manufacturing setting
- Experience with ERP system , ETO is an asset
- Capable of coordinate design packages for manufacturing and assembly
- Experience with installation and build of the project
- Working Knowledge of SolidWorks & MS Office
- Excellent communication skills used to communicate with customers in conducting updated meetings and reviews
- Attention to detail; tight deadlines, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Adept to change and constant improvement
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to successfully engage and interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment
- Ability to create RFQ, Drawing package, and follow up with project / order status

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop project schedules and timelines, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning, execution, and closeout.
- Coordinate with clarification of design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes.




- Communicate with customers to conduct updated meetings and reviews
- Set up and lead meetings and reviews to coordinate the requirements of internal and external customers.
- Prepare tooling/machine design models, drawings, and bill of material
- Coordinate design packages for manufacturing and assembly
- Coordinate with various departments for machine build
- Coordinate with the shop floor, automation team, and project management team.
- Coordinate with installation and build of the project
- Timely delivery of tasks; ensure design practices are consistently applied
- Evaluate component sizes, weights, tolerances, and characteristics
- Recommend improvements on designs and incorporate necessary changes into existing and new machinery
- Organize all project documentation, including quotes, correspondence, requisitions, drawings, schedules, etc.
- Assist with the request for quotes (RFQ) documents
- Maintain proper safety and housekeeping standards
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
