Are you organized, great with people, confident with numbers, and always ready to jump in when something needs fixing? We’re looking for a Cash / Customer Service Lead to keep our front-end operations running smoothly and help deliver a winning experience for every customer.

This is more than a traditional cashier role. You’ll lead and support our Cashier/Floor Associate team, oversee daily cash processes, manage online and custom orders, and serve as the go-to person for everything from Shopify questions to POS troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, train, and support our Cashier/Floor Associate team.
- Create a positive, energetic environment where employees can do their best work.
- Deliver friendly and helpful service to customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
- Ensure cash-handling procedures are followed accurately and securely.
- Complete daily cash reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and correct errors.
- Manage transactions and reporting through Moneris, Shopify, Pundit, skate cards, gift cards, and other store systems.
- Process and track custom and online orders from payment through fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the Inventory and Shipping and Receiving teams to keep customers updated.
- Manage sponsorship and donation requests received by the store.
- Maintain the store’s Shopify platform and respond to online customer inquiries.
- Troubleshoot issues involving tills, payment systems, and online ordering platforms.
- Look for ways to make our cash and customer-service processes even better.

What You Bring to the Team

- Previous cash-handling, retail, and supervisory experience.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers.
- Experience using cash registers, POS systems,



and retail software.
- Shopify experience is preferred but not required.
- A natural ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- The ability to stay calm, organized, and positive in a busy retail workplace.
- A willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional business education is an asset.
- An interest in sports and sporting goods would be a definite bonus!
