Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Arc/Stick Welder(s) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality arc and stick welding operations to perform welding repairs with a company repair vehicle. Your expertise will ensure that all welds meet safety standards, technical specifications, and quality expectations for customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with directly with the customers, and operators

Duties

- Welding repairs to Recycling containers /Recycling equipment/grates/railings (parts are manufactured in shop, welder describes the parts to the shop then picks them up and installs on site, this welder will not need to fabricate all parts but must be able to explain them through measurements)
- Evaluate repairs at site, use of cutting torches and welder to perform various repairs
- Perform arc (stick) welding to repair containers, balers, compactors, and chutes
- Operate power tools, hand tools efficiently
- Will be dispatched directly from residence once training is completed

Qualifications





- Proven experience in arc/stick welding with a strong understanding of welding safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Demonstrates a solid commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the day, work independently and unsupervised in a company vehicle
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, professional appearance, positive attitude, and a safety-first mindset
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions year-round, wearing protective clothing while working in or near garbage, recycling, or compost material

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
