Job Description: Evening & Weekend Cleaner

Location: MontHill Golf and Country Club

Position Summary:

MontHill Golf and Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Evening & Weekend Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our club, ensuring a welcoming and immaculate environment for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing of all public areas, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and other assigned spaces.

- Sanitization: Ensure all high-touch surfaces are regularly sanitized in compliance with health and safety standards.

- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables from designated areas, maintaining a tidy and orderly setting.

- Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities, reporting any shortages or needs to the Facilities Manager.

- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the Facilities Manager promptly.

- Customer Service:



Interact courteously with members and guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to facility cleanliness.

- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve departmental and club-wide goals.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, particularly in a hospitality or club setting.

- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

- Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and interact with staff and guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Experience:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
