Duties

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sanitizing utensils, cookware, and kitchen surfaces to uphold health standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support the culinary team
- Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Support cooking activities by organizing ingredients and preparing basic menu items under supervision
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly stored and maintained for efficient operation
- Contribute to a positive restaurant atmosphere by supporting serving staff and ensuring timely delivery of orders




- Follow all sanitation protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe working environment

Requirements

- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Solid attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food safety, and hospitality operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and guests
- Previous experience in hotel or food service industries is a plus but not mandatory
