We are looking for an experienced Skilled Construction Labourer for a construction project in Halifax, NS.

We specialize in formwork and reinforced concrete solutions offering our services to a wide range of building sectors including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Covering all parts of Eastern Canada, Sibwest delivers an innovative approach using a range of traditional and modern formwork systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform general construction labour and various physical duties as assigned
- Operate power tools, saws, hammers, and other construction equipment
- Maintain all safety standards
- Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload materials
- Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures
- Strip/set up formwork
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Assist in concrete placement and finishing
- Assist formwork carpenters on-site

Requirements:

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
- Good hand-eye coordination




- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Minimum 3 years of general labour experience in high-rise setting
