Sandwich Maker / Kitchen Helper – Granville Island

Join A Bread Affair, an artisan bakery on Granville Island known for handcrafted organic breads, pastries, and sandwiches. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to prepare our fresh grab-and-go items while also supporting our pastry kitchen.

This is a part-time position working Saturdays and Sundays, and a full-time position Friday to Tuesday in a friendly, fast-paced kitchen.

What you'll do

- Prepare sandwiches and grab-and-go items to A Bread Affair standards.
- Portion and prepare ingredients for daily production.
- Assist the pastry kitchen with production, packaging, and other kitchen tasks as needed.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Follow FoodSafe, hygiene, and labeling procedures.
- Help maintain product quality and communicate shortages or issues.

What we're looking for

- Food production, café, bakery, deli, or commercial kitchen experience.
- FoodSafe certification is an asset.




- Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable and able to work independently once trained.

Pay: Up to $18.63 per hour
