One of our manufacturing clients in GTA, ON region is looking for a Refrigeration Technician B for their facility.

Shift - Rotational Weekend Shift

Pay - $40 - $50/hr

Key Responsibilities:-

- Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, etc.).

- Monitor and adjust refrigeration systems to ensure proper operation and temperature control in accordance with company standards.

- Identify and troubleshoot refrigeration issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

- Maintain documentation of system performance, maintenance records, and refrigerant usage logs.

- Assist in maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety/environmental regulations.

- Respond to emergency repair calls and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.





- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and operations teams to minimize downtime.

- Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and confined space entry protocols.

- Support in training junior technicians or operators as needed.

Qualifications:

- Completion of a college diploma, vocational, or technical training program

- Possession of a valid Class B Refrigeration License (required)

- Red Seal Journeyperson Certification in Refrigeration (an asset)

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and performing routine maintenance tasks
