POOL HOUSE ATTENDANT

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Recreation Attendant helps create welcoming, clean, and enjoyable recreation experiences for Tigh-Na-Mara guests.

This guest-facing role assists guests throughout the recreation facilities while maintaining the pool house, gym, changing rooms, and surrounding areas to established cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.

The Recreation Attendant responds to guest needs, maintains supplies and amenities, and works collaboratively with Recreation Team Members to ensure facilities are prepared, well maintained, and ready for guest use.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, qualified, and attentive manner throughout the recreation facilities.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the pool house, gym, changing rooms, and other assigned recreation areas.
- Restock towels, water cups, tokens, washroom amenities, and other guest supplies to maintain appropriate levels throughout the day.
- Complete regular facility walk-throughs,



collect used towels and discarded items, and address cleanliness or safety concerns as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns, escalating matters to a Supervisor or the Recreation Manager when appropriate.
- Support Recreation Team Members, programs, and activities while following established health, safety, cleanliness, and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining clean, organized, and safe guest areas.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks involving bending, lifting, carrying, and general cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Previous recreation, hospitality, housekeeping, or guest service experience is considered an asset; training will be provided.

COMPENSATION

$18.25 - $20.20 per hour
