- 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Applicants must be consistently available for one of the listed shifts.

Position Summary

We are looking for reliable and physically capable Freezer Merchandisers with previous experience working in freezer, frozen-food, grocery merchandising, retail stocking, or a similar cold-storage environment.

This is a physically demanding position involving prolonged work in cold temperatures, repetitive lifting, unloading products, stocking freezer shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining organized displays. Applicants must understand the demands of freezer work and be prepared to maintain a steady work pace throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

- Work safely and efficiently inside a freezer or frozen-food section.
- Receive, unload, and move frozen products to their assigned locations.
- Regularly lift and carry products weighing approximately 25–30 lbs.
- Verify product quantities, item numbers, and packing lists against incoming orders.
- Inspect products for damage, incorrect items, and missing quantities.
- Stock and organize freezer shelves accurately and efficiently.
- Rotate inventory using the First Expired, First Out (FEFO) method.
- Place products with earlier expiry dates at the front of the shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as required.
- Create clean, organized, and attractive merchandise displays according to store and brand standards.
- Use carts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment to move and store products.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized freezer work area.
- Complete inventory records, reports, and other required documentation.
- Notify the supervisor of shortages, damaged products, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies.




- Meet daily productivity expectations while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Required Qualifications

- Previous freezer merchandising, frozen-food stocking, grocery merchandising, cold-storage, or similar experience is required.
- Experience handling a physically demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work for extended periods in cold or freezer temperatures.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Ability to regularly handle products weighing 25–30 lbs.
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to follow inventory-rotation, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valuable organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read workplace instructions in English.
- Reliable transportation to the Mississauga work location.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in the freezer department of a grocery store, supermarket, warehouse, or food-distribution facility.
- Experience with inventory rotation, expiry-date management, and FEFO procedures.
- Experience operating a manual or electric pallet jack.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards, shelf organization, and inventory control.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
