Serving Hands Senior Care is a locally owned, family-operated home care agency proudly serving Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County, and surrounding communities since 2016.

We are currently hiring full-time and part time Health Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors living independently in their own homes. Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required to help provide the continuity of care our clients depend on.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living
- Support mobility and safe transfers
- Provide medication reminders within HCA scope and individual care plans
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
- Provide light housekeeping related to client care and safety
- Monitor and document changes in client condition or behaviour
- Communicate observations and concerns promptly to the office and nursing team
- Deliver compassionate, respectful, person-centred care

Requirements

- Currently registered with CLHA as a Health Care Aide
- Active HCA practice permit in good standing




- Current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Strong English communication skills
- Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers
- Reliable, organized, and compassionate

Availability

Because home care is provided seven days a week, applicants should have some flexibility for:

- Days
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays

Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome. Scheduling is based on client needs, location, and each care provider's regular availability.

Compensation
