Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our team at True North Dental Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while maintaining a strong focus on patient satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Diagnose and treat oral health issues such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
- Create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Utilize digital radiography and other diagnostic tools to assess patients' oral health.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current on advancements in dental technology and treatment techniques.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid dental license in BC.
- Preferred 1 year of experience practicing dentistry in a clinical setting, but new grads are welcomed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Dedication to staying current on industry trends and best practices through continuing education.
