Overview

We are a multidisciplinary clinic. In our treatments, besides using manual therapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility, we also incorporate traditional eastern techniques such as fire cupping, tui na, gua sha/graston techniques, A.R.T (Active Release Technique) and acupuncture. With these techniques, not only are we able to bring temporary relief but we can treat the core issue. In addition, we also offer naturopathic and nutritional consultation for internal issues and maintenance of long term health.

Our new location in Ottawa is looking for an Osteopath, willing and ready to improve their skills and ready to market themselves to draw new or existing patients to our clinic.

We aim to fill your schedule with 4-6 clients per day at a 60/40 split + bonuses to start (and up to 65/35 with experience.)

Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations, to identify musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy techniques such as manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, and stretching.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention,



posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
- Maintain accurate case management records using electronic health record systems and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Osteopath (licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)) or in a similar manual therapy role, with a strong background in musculoskeletal health.
- Membership in Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO), Ontario Federation of Osteopathic Professionals (OFOP) or Ontario Association of Osteopathic Practitioners (OAOP) preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with case management systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus for serving diverse patient populations.
- Previous clinc, hospital or acute care experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Jane booking systems is an asset but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge related to body mechanics and anatomy is advantageous.
- Experience working with specialized populations such as pediatrics or those requiring orthopedic care is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate analysis skills for diagnosing complex conditions and developing effective treatment plans.

Pay: $100.00-$180.00 per hour
