Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Auditor / Guest Service Agent to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the confidence to make appropriate decisions when handling guest requests or operational issues. The ideal candidate should be dependable, professional, respectful toward guests and all team members, and capable of managing the front desk independently during the night shift.

A background in hotel operations or front desk experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using multi-line phone systems.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance their experience.
- Use good judgment and take appropriate initiative when handling guest concerns or unexpected situations.
- Work independently during the night shift and manage front desk operations without constant supervision.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
- Complete required night audit and front desk procedures accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with the management team regarding important incidents, issues, or follow-up items.
- Uphold high standards of customer service at all times.
- Treat guests, management, and fellow team members with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.

Requirements

- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage the hotel front desk during the night shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative when issues arise.
- Ability to assess situations, make reasonable decisions, and resolve routine problems without relying on constant management assistance.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, respectful, and cooperative attitude toward all guests, coworkers, and management.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow hotel procedures and standards consistently.
