Job Summary:

This is a hands-on role supporting both our Packaging and Pre-Roll operations.As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for all activities related to producing and preparing pre-rolls, weighing, producing, packaging, sealing and labelling cannabis products. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, consistency, and working in a regulated environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Weighing cannabis, twisting pre-rolls, packaging, sealing, and applying excise stamps
- Packaging and labelling cannabis products, including weighing cannabis and filling bags/containers
- Operating and managing labelling machines
- Working closely with team members to meet daily production goals
- Cleaning and maintaining the pre-roll room at the end of each shift
- Maintaining a clean and organized packaging work area
- Participates in all aspects of the pre-roll department under the direction of production specialist, including weighing cannabis, twisting, packaging, sealing and placing excise stamps.
- Operating and feeding pouch printing machines and using vacuum sealing equipment
- Ensuring correct excise stamps are used




- Participates in packaging and labelling activities under the direction of the appropriate supervisor/team lead
- Working as part of a team
- Operates and manages labelling machines efficiently.
- Completing required packaging and labelling paperwork accurately
- Following all company SOPs, safety guidelines, and Good Production Practices (GPP)
- Handling cannabis responsibly and accurately
- Assisting with other production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Experience in the cannabis industry (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines
- Good judgement—knows when to work independently and when to ask for guidance
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism
- Knowledge of GPP/GMP environments is an asset
- Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance
- Willingness to identify opportunities to improve production processes

Work Conditions:

- Use of safety equipment is required (toe-covered indoor shoes, gloves, hair nets, safety glasses, arm covers, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
