Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of bringing building projects to life by supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth operations on-site. Duties

- Assist skilled workers with tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and equipment setup to keep projects progressing efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks like drywall installation, flooring, or framing
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate work execution
- Support carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, painting, and tile laying activities as directed by supervisors
- Aid in restoration and renovation projects by preparing surfaces and assisting with finishing touches




- Perform general site maintenance including debris removal, organizing materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and other specialized tasks under supervision as skills develop

Experience

- Previous construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and their proper use is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but can be learned on the job
- Experience with drywall installation, caulking, painting, or tile laying is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail
