Job Overview
Re Recent It Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Brick and Stone Mason to join our family owned construction business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.

Duties

- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units according to project specifications and blueprints
- Mix mortar and other materials to appropriate consistency for bonding masonry units
- Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to achieve accurate work
- Utilize power tools including saws, drills, and grinders for cutting and shaping materials
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Perform restoration/repair work on existing structures, including repairing damaged masonry/stone/manufactured stone, applying caulking and installing metal flashings.




- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project deadlines are met and safety standards are maintained

Experience

- A journeyman certification as a Brick and Stone Mason is preferred
- Proven experience in construction or masonry work is required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and scaffold installation
- Familiarity with renovation processes and restoration techniques including laying bricks, blocks, stonework, stucco
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and masonry work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
