Pay: From CA$18.69 per hour

Job description:

Essential Job Functions: (*Including but not limited to)

· Perform daily and weekly cleaning as per job routines and schedules.

· Ensure all carpets, hardwood, laminate and tiles are clean, clear of stains and debris. Use marked safety equipment if wet.

· Replenish paper products, hand soap and hand sanitizer in the building when required.

· Provide general assistance to residents as required.

· Operate our floor scrubber and carpet cleaner when and where required.

· Assist with audits as assigned.

· Pick up garbage and recycling and dispose in proper area.

· Ensure housekeeping room, closets, equipment and carts to be cleaned and stored in their proper designated area.

· Participate in all staff meetings and in-services held by Heritage River.

· Comply with the obligations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Infection Control Protocols,



and all other applicable legislation and regulations.

· Use of ladders periodically, ie: changing of light bulbs,etc…

Requirements

- Proven experience in cleaning roles, particularly in hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts.
- Robust knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
