Overview

We are looking for a Compactor Technician – Electro-Mechanical to join our team. This position is suitable for candidates with mechanical experience as well as recent college graduates and newcomers to Canada who are interested in building a career in the industrial equipment and maintenance field.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair compactors and related equipment.
- Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Work with hydraulic systems, power tools, and hand tools.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with equipment servicing.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting when required.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements & Skills





- Mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems is an asset.
- Experience or familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
- Basic electrical knowledge is an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely in a hands-on workplace.
- Previous experience as a technician is an asset, but training may be provided to the right candidate.

We are willing to provide training and support candidates who are new to the industry.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
