Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Tandoor Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with proven supervisory and team management skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the availability of ingredients.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.




- Handle any customer feedback or complaints with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting.
- Robust leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing a team.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience in menu planning and development is advantageous.
