Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and care, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen workplace
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and delivering excellent customer service
- Support food presentation by plating dishes attractively and ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to uphold health department requirements
- Collaborate with team members to manage kitchen workflow during busy service times




- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within restaurants or the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication skills for serving customers and working effectively with team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating delicious dishes and providing outstanding food service experiences
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred
