Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians (MDRT/MDRDs)

Location: Toronto

Required Documents/Certifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current certification with CSA or MDRAO
- Completion of a certified Medical Device Reprocessing educational program
- Recertification every five years

Required Skills & Experience:

- Recent experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing environment.
- Recent experience in scope reprocessing.
- Knowledge and experience with MDRD infection control requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of instrumentation and medical/surgical supplies and equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to wear all required PPE.
- Commitment to continuing education and patient safety.
- Availability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
