Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store standards. A background in retail management, sales, and team development is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Oversee merchandising, pricing, and inventory management to meet sales targets
- Manage cashiering activities including cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance performance and customer service quality
- Conduct staff scheduling, payroll processing, and performance evaluations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Implement marketing strategies to increase store traffic and sales
- Monitor sales performance and develop action plans for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards,



and operational procedures
- Assist in budgeting, purchasing, and store management tasks as needed

Skills

- Proven supervisory experience in retail or similar environments with strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing techniques
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and staff members
- Customer service-oriented with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Competent in budgeting, payroll processing, and store operations management
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail and professionalism

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
