The Plains Motel (Brooks, AB) is currently looking for a Full Time or Part Time Guest Services Agent to join our excellent guest services team. The duties and responsibilities of a Guest Services Agent include, but are not limited to the following:

•Create a welcoming first impression to all guests.

•Ensure complete customer satisfaction with seamless check-in, check-out, reservations and providing general motel information.

•Required to develop a thorough knowledge of the motel, it services and surrounding areas.

•Wiling to go the extra mile.

•Use of proper telephone etiquette, adhering to Front Office Standards, answering all calls in a timely and skilled manner.

•Cashier duties.

•Versatile with respect to hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

•Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins,



special requests and day rooms etc.

•Processing payments.

•Maintaining a clean working environment at all time.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Review incoming groups / arrivals for any special requests and billing patterns.

•Help motivate and foster a team atmosphere within the Guest Services Department and motel as a whole.

•All other duties as assigned by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour

- Brooks, AB T1R 0N8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
