West Edmonton Hyundai is looking for an experienced Parts Manager who knows that a great parts department is about a lot more than counting inventory.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll take ownership of the overall performance of the Parts Department, including:

- Leading, coaching, training, and developing the parts team
- Setting department goals and driving the team toward achieving them
- Building schedules that provide the right coverage for the needs of the dealership
- Maintaining a healthy, balanced inventory that supports retail, wholesale, and service department demand
- Monitoring inventory levels and taking action to minimize obsolete and aging parts
- Reviewing sales, gross profit, expenses, and inventory performance regularly
- Establishing pricing strategies that protect profitability while maintaining customer loyalty




- Developing and growing wholesale parts opportunities
- Ensuring internal customers receive the same level of urgency and service as external customers
- Maintaining strong processes around special-order parts, backorders, returns, and inventory control

Work Closely With Service

Parts and Service should operate as one team.

You’ll work closely with the Service Manager and Fixed Operations leadership to make sure tomorrow’s appointments are ready before tomorrow arrives.

That means:

- Reviewing upcoming appointments and identifying required parts
- Ensuring special-order parts are ordered and available
- Preparing for off-make vehicle appointments
- Identifying potential parts availability issues before they impact the customer
- Supporting service department productivity and reducing avoidable delays
- Collaborating on parts and service pricing strategies and opportunities to improve department performance

What We’re Looking For

You know how to run a parts department — and you know how to lead people.

You’ll bring:

- Minimum 3 years of automotive parts management experience
- CDK experience would be considered an asset
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach,



and hold a team accountable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of inventory management, gross profit, pricing, and department performance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A high level of integrity, dependability, and ownership
- A strong sense of urgency and a results-focused mindset

Hyundai or Kia experience would be considered a strong asset.

Compensation

$85,000–$100,000 annually, including salary plus performance-based bonus opportunity.
