About the Role
Naju Korean Restaurant in North York is seeking dependable, customer-oriented Servers to join our team. We provide an inviting dining experience centered around authentic Korean cuisine, and we are looking for team members who bring positive energy and quality service to our dining room.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests promptly with a friendly, professional attitude
- Present menus, answer questions about Korean dishes, and take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve meals and side dishes efficiently while checking in on guest satisfaction
- Clear, sanitize, and reset tables to ensure smooth dining turnover
- Process customer payments (debit, credit, cash) using the POS system
- Maintain front-of-house cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (Valid SIN, Open Work Permit, Working Holiday Visa, PR, or Canadian Citizen)
- Strong English communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Valid Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized in a quick-paced dining environment
- Previous restaurant or serving experience is an asset, but beginners with a strong work ethic are welcome
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
