Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Immigration Consultant (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant - RCIC) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide expert guidance and support to clients navigating immigration processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and delivering exceptional service. Your expertise will help individuals and families achieve their immigration goals efficiently and confidently. Duties
- Assist clients with completing immigration applications accurately and thoroughly, ensuring all required documentation is prepared and submitted correctly.
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance on immigration options, procedures, and legal requirements tailored to each client’s unique situation.
- Stay current with changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures to ensure all advice is compliant and up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with government agencies, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the application process.
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information and assess eligibility for various immigration programs.
- Maintain meticulous case files, tracking application statuses, deadlines, and follow-up actions diligently.
- Offer support services such as special education referrals or assistance for individuals with disabilities to ensure accessible communication and accommodations.
Experience
- Valid RCIC license issued by the appropriate regulatory body demonstrating compliance with licensing requirements.
- Proven experience working as an immigration consultant or in a related legal or administrative role within immigration services.
- Strong understanding of immigration laws, policies, and procedures relevant to the region or country of practice.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Proficiency in communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Knowledge of additional communication methods such as American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus for supporting clients with hearing impairments.
- Experience in caregiving or supporting individuals requiring medication administration or special education accommodations is highly desirable.
