WHAT ARE SOME OF THE COOL PROJECTS DESIGNED AND BUILT
- Hoists for the world’s second heaviest on-shore lifter at 13,000 tons
- High speed winches and control system for a 2,000-foot artificial surfing pool
- Gate hoists on the largest infrastructure project in Canada
- Mechanical stage device for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas
- Shaft sinking winches with 110,000 lbs line pull for mining projects in Australia
- Mooring and riser pull-in systems for multiple offshore energy projects world-wide
- Hoists for aqueduct construction which supplies 50% of drinking water to New York City
- A cable tensioning system that sets up the Artemis Emergency Egress System at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Proactively contact existing customers to provide priced parts list for their equipment
- Respond to customer; answer routine and technical inquiries on equipment parts
- Purchase parts/components, prepare and enter all customer parts quotations
- Maintain systems such as filing, correspondence tracking, as well as searching internal systems and/or accessing departmental information to track information
- Receive and review orders for clarity, accuracy, and completeness and input into systems
- Liaison with engineering,
accounting and shipping departments
- Maintain all customer files and customer orders including progress payment files and payment schedules
- With guidance from the Parts Manager, achieve annual sales and profit goals
- Maintain and build relationships with current customers
- Actively promote Timberland’s parts business to past and new customers
- Ensure commitments to customers are met
- Negotiate, place orders and enter into contracts for procurement as necessary for required materials

- Previous parts/inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment

- Strong computer skills in MS Office
- Post-secondary education in business, engineering or supply chain an asset
- Mechanical aptitude – technical troubleshooting an asset
- Proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships
- Ability to think strategically with excellent quantitative skills
