Duties

- Safely operate delivery trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy machinery, ensuring secure handling of all items
- Verify delivery details, documentation, and shipment accuracy before departure and upon arrival
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal vehicle performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Follow safety protocols and comply with all transportation regulations during every trip




- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and operational activities

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in logistics environments
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
