We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy staff in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service, all while maintaining compliance with health regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and organizing medication storage.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the pharmacy environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective patient care.

Skills





- Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly beneficial for performing job duties effectively.
- knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Experience in patient care to ensure compassionate support for individuals receiving medications is an asset
- Familiarity with medication administration processes to assist in safe dispensing practices.
