Our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join their team. This role involves preparing and applying industrial coatings to steel and metal components for various manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities
- Mask components to protect areas from overspray during painting.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sandblasting and cleaning as required.
- Apply industrial coatings to steel and metal components using spray equipment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies when handling solvents and chemicals.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed boots and coveralls.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial painting, specifically with steel and other metals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of protected working practices, including handling solvents and WHMIS regulations.
- Experience operating a forklift of overhead bridge crane an asset.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights and on rotating shifts.
- Must have your own steel-toed safety boots and coveralls.
