Solutions Designer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Solutions Designer - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto or Kingston office.

Solutions Designer - Senior - Job Description:
The recent Solutions Designer role focuses on technical design and cloud-based technologies, critical for high-profile technology solutions. The role involves working on cutting-edge projects that require the design, development, and enhancement of large-scale, high-risk technology solutions.

Solutions Designer - Senior - Responsibilities:

- Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing
- Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing
- Responsible for the development of test plans, test scripts, and test cases and executing these against various components
- Executes functional, integration, system, and regression tests
- Validates that the system behaves as expected under various conditions
- Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects using tools like Azure DevOps
- Works closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Develops and maintains automated test scripts using tools like Micro Focus, OpenText™ UFT, Selenium





Solutions Designer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:

- Demonstrated experience as a technical design specialist coordinating the design, development, and enhancement of complex large-scale, high-profile, high-risk technology solutions
- Experience utilizing cloud-based technologies including containerization, orchestration, and microservices
- Working knowledge of standards for health care data exchange, particularly Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)
- Experience in one or more languages: JavaScript ES6+, Spring Framework, Quarkus, Angular 9+, Angular Material, TypeScript, Node.JS, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience working with security architects and privacy SMEs to ensure the application design and physical deployment meet the required level of security and adhere to data privacy standards
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills

Solutions Designer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in the healthcare technology industry
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

This is a 6-month contract position.
