We are looking for hardworking and reliable crew members to join our Fiber Drop Crew. This position involves outdoor work, extensive digging, trenching, and installation of fiber-optic cable. This is a Position till freeze up. Based out of Saskatoon.
Job Duties
- Dig trenches and pathways for fiber drops
- Install and place fiber-optic cable
- Work with hand tools and digging equipment
- Complete backfilling and site cleanup
- Follow job-site safety procedures
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, bending, and digging
Qualifications
- Previous construction, landscaping, utility, or fiber experience is an asset
- Comfortable with heavy physical labor and lots of digging
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
- Valid driver’s License
- Must be safety-conscious and willing to learn
