Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Insulator to join our energetic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems on various mechanical equipment and piping. Your expertise will help ensure energy efficiency, safety, and durability of building systems. Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, assemble, and install insulation materials using hand tools and power tools according to project specifications and blueprints
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure insulation is properly secured and airtight
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements
- Use drywall techniques where necessary to support insulation installation in wall cavities or ceilings
- Conduct inspections of installed insulation for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times




- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Skills

- Proficiency in caulking, using hand tools, and handling construction materials effectively
- Strong construction experience with a focus on insulation installation processes
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate them into precise work tasks
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques as they relate to insulation projects
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance
- Good physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials
- Effective communication skills for working collaboratively within a team environment
