Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. This role requires proficiency in various surveying tools and technologies, as well as the ability to work in a very demanding environment. Candidates must be local to Fort Mcmurray. Shift will be 10 on and 4 off.
Duties
- Provide layout for underground utilities and concrete foundations.
- Topographic surveying using both GPS and total station
- Maintain equipment and ensure all surveying tools are in good working condition.
- Assist in the development of project plans by providing critical survey information.
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in the industrial construction surveying industry.
- Knowledge of total station is essential
- Proficiency in AutoCAD an added bonus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
- Experience with underground locating would definitely be an asset.
