We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Shipper/Receiver – Warehouse & Customer Support to join our Calgary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and customer service.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving

- Pick, organize, and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments safely using manual handling equipment and forklifts.
- Receive incoming inventory and accurately enter products into the inventory management system.
- Verify packing slips, receiving paperwork, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate shipments with courier and freight companies.
- Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Notify customers by phone or email when their orders are ready for pickup.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and purchasing activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including garbage and recycling duties.
- Safely operate propane and electric forklifts.
- Complete local customer pickups and deliveries using a company vehicle.
- Assist the sales and service departments as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Customer Support (Backup)

- Provide backup customer service support for Optimal Cases and Lights.
- Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver a high level of professional customer service.

Qualifications





- Minimum 3 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics role.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and online shipping/waybill systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and regular use of hands and fingers. Candidates must be able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs., frequently lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.

Education

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Hourly wage: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
