Experienced Commercial Glazier

Full-Time | Halifax, NS

We are looking for experienced Commercial Glaziers to join our installation team for a major commercial glazing project in the Halifax area.

We are looking for skilled tradespeople who have previous hands-on experience installing commercial glazing systems and can step onto a project ready to work. Successful candidates should be familiar with commercial glazing practices, including the installation of curtain wall, storefront, entrances, and related glazing systems.

This position is suited to experienced glaziers who can work productively with minimal supervision and take pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Install commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, entrances, and related glazing systems
- Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Perform layout, measuring, and field adjustments
- Safely operate aerial lifts and other equipment
- Work efficiently as part of an installation crew
- Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship
- Coordinate professionally with supervisors and other trades on site
- Follow project specifications, installation procedures, and site safety requirements

Qualifications

- Previous commercial glazing experience is required




- Previous curtain wall installation experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with storefront, entrances, and other commercial glazing systems
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Strong understanding of commercial glazing installation practices
- Fall Protection certification
- WHMIS certification
- Aerial Lift / MEWP certification
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity

We are looking for experienced, dependable glaziers who can contribute immediately to a professional commercial installation team. Candidates with strong experience, initiative, and the ability to take responsibility on site may have opportunities for additional responsibility as the project progresses.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
