Duties
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs
- Work closely with neurodivergent children, supporting their sensory, motor, and daily living skill development under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Support clients and families through activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care tasks
- Implement fine motor activities to improve coordination, handwriting, and hand strength
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment
- Document patient progress and communicate observations to the occupational therapist
- Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Experience working with neurodivergent children (e.g., Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders) (preferred)
- Knowledge of ADL and fine motor therapy techniques
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
- Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle to support home and community-based services.

✨ Experience supporting clients and families with a variety of daily living, regulation, and feeding needs
✨ Experience working with neurodivergent clients
✨ Bilingual skills (language diversity is a strength!)
Job Types: Casual, Contractor, Part-Time (Can build to full time)
Additional pay:
- Commission pay

Pay: $45.00-$54.00 per hour
