Overview

We are seeking a Millwright Lead Hand to maintain production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, coordinate maintenance activities, and help minimize equipment downtime.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify the root cause of malfunctions.
- Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, operating manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts.
- Install and adjust new or replacement machinery components as required.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment and tools.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for determining changes in part dimensions.
- Use hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, straight edges, and other maintenance tools to adjust and align equipment.
- Monitor preventive maintenance activities and help minimize equipment downtime.
- Provide direction and support to maintenance personnel as required.




- Follow all health and safety requirements, company policies, and PPE procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate required.

Experience:

- 3–5 years of Industrial Millwright experience in maintenance or related work.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and high-pressure systems.
- Ability to use specialized measuring tools, including Vernier calipers, micrometers, angle finders, feeler gauges, and dial indicators.
- Ability to evaluate equipment and parts and assess small equipment modifications.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
