Trade Sense Home Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced 309A Licensed Electrician to join our Electrical Division.

What You'll Be Doing

This isn't a repetitive construction position. Our electricians work on a variety of residential service and installation projects, including:

- Electrical troubleshooting and service calls
- Panel changes and electrical service upgrades
- Residential renovations and additions
- New circuits and wiring
- Lighting, switches, receptacles, and electrical upgrades
- Generator and backup power installations
- Transfer switches and generator connections
- Electrical work associated with HVAC equipment
- Electrical work associated with renovations and multi-trade projects
- New residential construction
- Small commercial projects when required
- Electrical inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance

You'll often be trusted to manage your own service calls and projects while having the support of the Trade Sense office and our other trade divisions.

What We're Looking For

Required:

- Valid Ontario 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Licence
- Valid Ontario driver's licence




- Strong residential electrical experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Good knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accurately determine required materials and complete jobs efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Comfortable communicating directly with homeowners and customers
- Dependable, punctual, and organized

Experience with the following is an asset:

- Standby generators
- GenerLink installations
- Automatic transfer switches
- EV chargers
- Service and panel upgrades
- Heat pump/HVAC electrical installations
- Residential renovations
- Commercial service work
