What You'll Do

As the Construction Manager, you will provide overall site leadership and ensure the project is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all site construction activities while ensuring alignment with health, safety, environmental, quality, and operational requirements.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to Superintendents and field management teams.
- Monitor project performance and progress against established milestones and objectives.
- Develop and implement corrective measures when required to maintain schedule and productivity targets.
- Evaluate workforce requirements and allocate resources to optimize operational efficiency.
- Drive project profitability, schedule adherence, and productivity performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee site mobilization and demobilization activities.
- Ensure all project commitments and contractual obligations are met.
- Lead daily planning meetings and coordinate equipment and manpower requirements.




- Verify field execution aligns with project plans and schedules.
- Maintain a regular field presence to monitor productivity, quality, and safety.
- Conduct monthly job cost, budget, and progress reviews with project support teams.
- Present construction updates during owner and management meetings.
- Assist with project forecasting, financial planning, and cost reporting.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.
- Monitor and address safety performance, incidents, and compliance requirements.
- Lead construction execution within a SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) environment.

What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

- Engineering Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent construction-related education.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in marine construction, pile driving, drilling, heavy civil, industrial, or related construction disciplines.
- Previous experience delivering major oil and gas, industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- Demonstrated success leading large site construction teams.
- Strong project execution planning and operational management capabilities.
- Proven ability to achieve project milestones while controlling costs and maintaining productivity.
- Comfortable working in remote project locations on rotational schedules.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or adjusted schedules as operational requirements dictate.

$150,000 - $175,000 annually (Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group compensation practices.)
