DUTIES

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to support production while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Manage the purchasing process from planning through delivery and resolve supplier, quality, and delivery issues.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Quality Assurance to ensure materials meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Track material availability, market conditions, and pricing trends.
- Validate inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Warehouse staff on receiving, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders,



inventory records, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve purchasing processes, and strengthen supply continuity.

ASSETS

- 2–5 years of procurement, purchasing, or inventory management experience.
- Experience in food manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- ERP system experience is preferred.
- Offshore procurement experience is an asset.
