Job Title: Local AZ Truck Driver (Day & Night Shifts – GTA Dedicated)

Position Overview

Afralogistic is seeking reliable, skilled, and safety-minded AZ Commercial Truck Drivers to operate local store delivery routes across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Drivers will operate dedicated daily routes out of our East Gwillimbury terminal with predictable schedules and home-daily shifts.

Shift Options Available

- Day Shift: 6:00 AM Start Time
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM Start Time (10–12 hour shifts, local routes, home after every shift)

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate 53' tractor-trailers (Dry Van / Reefer) for multi-stop store deliveries across the GTA.
- Conduct mandatory pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with MTO regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD)



records and trailer tracking compliance.
- Perform safe maneuvering, backing, and dock management at retail store distribution locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, yard arrivals, and delivery completions.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Licence: Valid Ontario Class AZ Driver’s Licence.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of verifiable AZ commercial driving experience (GTA/metro traffic experience preferred).
- Safety Record: Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR document (provided within the last 30 days).
- Skills: Proficient in operating ELD software, backing up in tight urban loading docks, and managing HOS regulations.
- Status: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
