Duties

- Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Support the disassembly and assembly of automotive components following technical specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in welding tasks and other mechanical repairs to strengthen your technical skills.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while moving parts or equipment around the shop environment.
- Follow detailed repair procedures by interpreting schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate work.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace,

Requirements

- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.
- Demonstrated interest in automotive maintenance, assembly, or mechanic work through prior experience or training.
- Willingness to learn recent skills, follow instructions carefully, and adhere to safety standards throughout all tasks.
