Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and hygiene practices
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities while providing excellent guest services

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments,



demonstrating strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and inventory counts
- Robust communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales potential while maintaining a positive attitude
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and enthusiasm
