We are seeking for a Server/Bartender who can deliver unforgettable moments through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond.
Scope:
Provides prompt and courteous food and beverage service to guests courteously while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction.
Prepares beverages and/ or serves food for the guest promptly and courteously while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
- Prepares beverages and food service requested by guests or servers according to standard operating procedures establishing proper proportions and ingredients to control costs and provide a consistent product to the guests.
- Crafting Unique and Signature Drinks: specializes in creating unique and innovative cocktails, experimenting with different ingredients, flavors, and techniques to craft original and signature drinks.
- Check the cleanliness and presentation of dishes and kitchenware, arrange table settings, and keep the dining area tidy, reporting any issues as needed.
- Inform guests about the day's specials and offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization.
- In-depth Knowledge of Ingredients: should have an extensive understanding of various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients and be knowledgeable about the history and production methods of different beverages.
- Presentation: Pay attention to the visual presentation of drinks, using garnishes, glassware, and other elements to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal.
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.
- Serve food and drink orders; Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning, and assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed
- Inform your supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents
- Be cleaner than clean -Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting guests with their queries to enhance their experience
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Note: Associates will abide by the specific performance standards for their department as communicated to them by their manager.

- Kitchen and Banquets Staff: To coordinate guest service requests
- Management Staff: To alert of service challenges

- Guests: To provide courteous and efficient service
Qualifications:
Education/ Experience: Proven work experience as a Server in a restaurant environment. Hands-on experience with MICROS. Basic reading, writing, and math.
License Requirement: Smart Serve Certificate
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Mixology or the ability to make traditional cocktails and create new ones

Working Conditions:
- Will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Server/Bartender
- The major responsibility in this position is to provide prompt and courteous service to hotel guests; therefore, a significant portion of time is spent speaking, listening, walking, standing and carrying.
- The vast majority of time is spent servicing the menu items, which is typically done while standing up and walking. Cleaning the restaurant is also accomplished while standing and walking around the restaurant.
- Communication skills are used a significant amount of time when describing menu or cocktail items, talking with guests or staff, and when giving instructions.
- Carrying and lifting items of up to 75 pounds (i.e. plates, utensils, trays, tables) occurs frequently. Proper lifting techniques are required.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized frequently when documenting a guest’s order, reading the menu, or when processing customer payments.
- Reasoning, problem solving, and organizational abilities are used often.
- Basic mathematical skills are used when completing customer payment transactions.
