Responsibilities and Job Duties:

Ø Highest standards of quality and service

Ø Tracking hours worked using our digital system (app)

Ø Maintaining truck stock and ordering material as required

Ø Documenting job progress with photos and detailed descriptions

Ø Filling out site reports as needed

Ø Documenting pre-existing damage

Ø Basic drain cleaning (kitchen sinks, toilets, camera inspections, etc.)

Ø Sewer line and drain tile cleaning (use a mainliner, camera, hydro flush)

Ø Fixture installations (faucets, sinks, toilets, etc.)

Ø Troubleshoot leaks and re-pipe water lines

Ø Plumbing installations and retrofits

Ø Hot water tank installations and troubleshooting

Ø Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems

Ø Read blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply network and waste & drainage systems

Ø Locate and mark positions for pipe connections & coring

Qualifications:

Ø Experience in the Plumbing/Gas/Heating industries

Ø Base knowledge of applicable codes

Ø Valid BC drivers licence and a clean driving record

Ø Can read and write/type English

Ø Willingness to learn





Ø Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Ø Ability to stand, bend, crouch and climb (use of ladders/crawl space work)

Ø Common sense and positive judgment

Ø Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ø Ability to follow direction, instructions and work orders

Ø Strong attention to detail

Ø Strong customer service skills and ability to deal with clients professionally at all times

Ø Be punctual and on time

Ø Red Seal Plumbing ticket is an asset

Ø Class “B” gas ticket is an asset

Ø Cross-Connection Ticket is an asset but not required

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
