Pace is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families involved with Children’s Services. We offer intervention services designed to strengthen family relationships and promote child safety and well-being.

Our programs include:

- Supervised Visits (in-home or out-of-home)
- Family Support (teaching and mentorship)
- Youth Work

Position Overview

As a Family Intervention Worker, you will provide direct support to families, children, and youth through prevention and early intervention strategies. You will collaborate with caregivers and community partners to develop individualized plans that promote safety, stability, and positive family dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct client intake and assessment: gather information, screen for risk factors, complete safety planning, and determine appropriate interventions
- Develop and implement individualized family work and education plans in collaboration with caregivers
- Provide case-specific interventions for parents, caregivers, children, and families
- Apply knowledge of child protection issues to deliver effective prevention strategies
- Build collaborative relationships with families, community members, and agencies to strengthen support networks
- Document case plans, reviews, evaluations,



and exit plans; maintain regular communication with Children’s Services case managers
- Prepare correspondence for clients regarding program participation and completion
- Assist with administrative duties and contribute to operational planning as directed
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with professional ethics

Qualifications

Required:

- Diploma or degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or related Human Services field
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Intervention Check

Preferred Training: (Will provide for the right candidate)

- First Aid & CPR
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention
- ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
- Cultural Awareness (training provided for the right candidate)

Skills & Experience

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

This postion is until March 31, 2027

Pay: $55,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
